Pros: Has good power and is a nice straight-ahead option as a runner. Secures the ball well. Does a decent job cutting defenders out on the edge as a blocker.
Cons: Lacks speed and agility as a runner. Needs to get stronger in the lower body. Whiffs on too many blocks and doesn't win many battles when taking on linebackers straight on.
Overview: He's basically a big running back that is a work in progress as a lead blocker. Works in Navy's option attack. The past two years, combined for 1,862 yards and 14 touchdowns.
NFL Forecast: Because of his military commitment, Kettani won't be factor in the NFL until 2011 at the earliest. But by then, if he can get stronger, he might be an effective lead blocker. I never see him being a great player. He's more of a big runner, but if he's around 250 or so pounds, I could see him being a serviceable player. He's a good guy that if he can impact on special teams can stick in the league. But there are better options out there.
ATL Forecast: Again, his military commitment means he won't do anything until 2011, which by then Snelling could be the teams' starting fullback. He has potential as a physical lead blocker, but he's a project as of right now.
Value: Even without the military commitment, I wouldn't draft him. But definitely would be worth a look in camp.
