Pros: A solid lead blocker that shows nice pop. Does a lot of cutting, and
does that well. Has quickness and burst to the hole and is a capable straight-ahead runner. Works at tight end and H-back as well. Capable special teams performer.
Cons: Doesn't always square up with defender. Will drop some passes. Not really a great running threat.
Overview: Fiammetta offers some versatility offensively as he's a capable runner and receiver, just nothing special there. He's more of a finesse blocker than anything. His 28 career receptions came the past two seasons.
NFL Forecast: He'd work well in a West Coast offense, as he's a capable receiver. Won't be super productive there, but the type of guy that could be a nice 20-catch guy in the right offense. He could stand to get bigger and more physical. He's not going to contribute much as a runner at the next level, but could occasionally get some carries. He should be a solid starter, but will be able to help a team out on special teams right away. Won't ever be a star, but one of those guys that quietly contributes to a team's rushing success because of his consistency.
ATL Forecast: Fiammetta could beat Snelling out for a job right away because of his ability to perform on special teams. He's probably not as polished a runner or receiver that Snelling is at this point, but probably has greater upside as a blocker. Would be a nice backup to Mughelli for a few years and then eventually take over as the starter. Would be a fullback similar to Bob Christian.
Value: He's a solid late round pick, that would be a nice fifth round pickup for a team.
