Sean Glennon
6-4/220 Virginia Tech
4.82 Senior

Pros: Has a good arm. Shows pretty decent mechanics and footwork. Has nice mobility and can make throws on the run.

Cons: Needs to improve his touch and accuracy, as he puts too much on some of his shorter throws. His mechanics and footwork could be a bit more consistent. Needs to improve his decision making.

Overview: Glennon's decision making made a marked improvement from his junior to senior season, but because of injuries and the emergence of Tyrod Taylor, it was not on display that much. 18-8 as a starting QB, completing 58.8% of his passes and had a TD-INT ratio of 28:21.

NFL Forecast: Glennon is what you'd call the ideal backup candidate. He doesn't always respond well to adversity and pressure, making him a questionable starter. But he has the skills to stick in the league if he can become more consistent. He seems to possess a good head on his shoulders, handling the 2-QB system with a great deal of class, much in the same way Bryan Randall did when Marcus Vick was looking over his shoulder. Which could be similar to what kind of role he'd have with a team as a backup in the pros, preparing as if he were the starter, but not getting as much time on the field as he may have wished. Glennon won't be a great pro, but could be a capable backup if he was given time to learn a scheme.

ATL Forecast: He could be a good fit in Atlanta as a long-term option as the No. 2 behind Ryan. He just needs to improve his accuracy and he'd have a chance of unseating Shockley as the No. 3 as a rookie. With two or three years under his belt, would probably be ready for the No. 2 gig.

Value: Don't draft Glennon, but he could be a nice pickup as a fourth passer for camp with the chance to make your roster.
