40: 4.91 (Campus)
PROS: Has good accuracy and velocity on punt snaps. His snaps are fairly tight and consistent in their placement. Is able to get downfield and cover and shows willingness to make a tackle.
CONS: Not as accurate or consistent when snapping on field goals.
OVERVIEW: A good long snapper with enough polish that he should be able to stick in the league right away.
NFL FORECAST: His field goal snapping needs a bit of work, but it's not exactly like it'll take a ton of work to improve there. They should be fairly easy to correct once he gets into an NFL camp and starts working with a kicker and holder. He obviously will develop as time wears on, but if a team is looking to go young at long snapper, I could see him starting right away with some team. And while he wouldn't be among the best in the league early in his career, he has a good chance to have a long NFL career and work his way into that group.
ATL FORECAST: Windt could challenge Zelenka for the job, and while in a fair competition I think the veteran would win out, I think it would be close enough that the Falcons would be willing to turn the keys over to the young guy just so they wouldn't have to worry about this position for a very long time as long snappers are one of the few positions where it's fairly easy for a guy to play a decade or more with one team.
VALUE: For a team desperate for a long snapper, he is worth a late seventh round draft pick. But obviously, you'd much rather prefer to get him in the undrafted market.
