CLINT GRESHAM 6-3/225 Texas Christian Senior
PROS: Gets good zip and velocity on his snaps. Good accuracy and generally puts the ball in the right spot. CONS: Can be a bit off on his accuracy at times. Some snaps on field goals can be low. OVERVIEW: Sound snapper that will probably need to add some muscle to stick in the NFL level. NFL FORECAST: I'm not sure he's quite ready to stick right away in the NFL. But if he can definitely compete, and for a team looking for a young, cheaper alternative, he can work. I think he's probably a year or two away from permanently landing a job. But if he can bulk up to around 250 pounds, he'll have a much better chance of sticking. ATL FORECAST: Gresham has a chance to work in Atlanta. But he'd probably be hard-pressed to be a veteran in camp. But he is good enough to get a further look later in the regular season if the veteran got hurt or injured. He probably wouldn't stick as a rookie, but he'd have a shot in 2011 or beyond. VALUE: Not really worth drafting unless a team was desperate. But definitely bring him to camp, to give a look-see and maybe you can sign him down the road.
