PROS: Has good size and shows ability at the point of attack. Hard to block one on one because of it. Gets good push and shows potential as a bull rusher.
CONS: Doesn't have a good motor and needs to improve his conditioning. Spends too much time on the ground. Not great vs. double teams. Lacks ideal quickness to pressure quarterback.
OVERVIEW: He is a massive interior player that could have some weight issues. Had durability problems as well (which probably stem from the weight). Missed 4 games as a junior due to foot injury and 3 games as a sophomore due to knee injury. Was able to play complete year as a senior and had 25 tackles, 2 for loss, 1 sack, and 3 fumble recoveries.
NFL FORECAST: Ivey has potential to develop as a nose tackle in the 3-4 scheme. But his weight will have to get under control and his conditioning will have to improve. He's very raw at this point and I don't think is ready to be a regular contributor to any team. If he can be stashed on the practice squad for a year or two, then I think he stands a chance down the road. But I would think he needs to get down to 325 or below to get the most out of his ability. But he'll be hard-pressed to stick in the league because he's at least two years away from being at a level comparable to a guy that can make a roster.
ATL FORECAST: The Falcons may be intrigued with his size, but at this point he doesn't have the motor or conditioning to think he could make the Falcons roster or even practice squad.
VALUE: He's not worth drafting because of how much of a project he is, but worth an invite to camp.
