One thing I don't agree with is the much of the passes were off target line. Vick threw 73.07% catchable passes. They weren't all passes that could have included YAC, but nevertheless they were on target...not every pass is going to hit the bullseye & it's time for the receivers to really step up. I would start Roddy since he seems to have very good hands.

Thanks Yulin. I'm trying not to be so negative at the midpoint in the season. It's hard. I had to take a step back and look at our record. We are 5-2, and could easily be 7-0. On the other end of the spectrum, we could probably be just as easily 2-5, but the fact that we are 5-2 instead means this football team has heart and that means a lot.

I realize that if Vick is the game, and the game is close, we'll win almost every time.

So I'm going to try to be content for now. We need to build now, and as that goes, so will my mood. We need to improve throwing the ball, we need to build off what was the first time we truly stopped the run all season long, and we need to improve our pass defense. We've seen the defense shutdown the run (vs. Jets), we've seen the secondary perform (vs. Eagles/Bills), we've seen Vick do a pretty good job throwing the ball (vs. Bills/Vikings). Now we just need to start putting it together instead of being so damn sporadic.

Most of Vick's passes are relatively short dinks and dunks. He is even off target on those. I'll say this, it's very hard to be accurate when you're running for your life back there, but my main bitch is when he has the time and no one is around him or the receiver he is still off target. Even Madden pointed this out a few times on the telecast.
