I got this from the Pro Football weekly website: maybe this is the reason Pathon was signed?

Team observers in Atlanta have said that the coaching staff is concerned by how little production it has gotten from its young WRs Michael Jenkins and Roddy White. But head coach Jim Mora and other members of the front office are reluctant to verbalize their displeasure too much for fear of ruining the young receivers’ confidence

I agree with this one, we have seen nothing from R. White and Jenks is just missing too many balls. Plus, if you watch tape you will see Finn is in almost every frame where the ball is blocking wise and Jenks has been nowhere. That will upset the coaches as well.

I wonder about Roddy White if he is inured still,not picking up the system as fast or just no room since finneran is emerging and jenkins seems to be a lock?Maybe Pathon will be used in slants and play more than Roddy?

Roddy White = high ankle sprain. It's a lingering injury that may or may not bother him all season. I suspect it is effecting him more than anyone knows.

Anyone notice that Vick does better with medicore receivers (Finneran) than he does with supposed good receivers (Jenkins). Clearly chemistry is huge for Vick and he only has it with Finneran and Crumpler thus far.
