Jackson Jeffcoat, DE/OLB
Martavis Bryant, WR
Keith McGill, CB
Walt Aikens, CB
Christian Jones, OLB (Seems to be a good coverage LB who can man up against big TEs... Bartu gives us this, but I think that Jones could give us some depth, and perhaps even challenge Bartu.)

Christian Jones, Telvin Smith, or Chris Smith from Arkansas if they go defense. Devonte Freeman, Martavius Bryant, Bruce Ellington or Lache Seastrunk if they go defense.

I've always liked Seastrunk and would be happy with him, a WR to replace Roddy in a year or so, or a LB. lots of players out there for the picking.

It's amazing to me that you guys do this to yourself year after year, holding out hope for particular player, particularly in the later rounds.

It's nice to have some guys in mind, but I'm just curious over the years how many of the guys you wanted outside maybe Rounds 1 and 2 have the Falcons ever selected?

in all honesty, it's amazing to me how much everybody talks about any of these players. I mean, they are going to draft who they are going to draft and our opinions machs nicht. I guess it is what fans do but if I had to see another mock draft I think I was going to barf. I guess the upside of it is that you get to know a few players who will be on someone's team and this makes watching the league in general a little more enjoyable. The NFL Draft is just one more bloated aspect of the league in general along with the SB and its two weeks preamble of hype. I had an old grandmotherly customer ask me Friday morning, "Did you watch the draft last night?"

Every year we get suckered into the draft frenzy. Fans become experts as well as the NFL gurus on TV about who should go where. I have to remind myself every year the draft is the most hyped event in sports.

I just hope the draft is in April next year. This waiting till May just sucks the life out of draftniks. Of course the commissioner can always say they had the highest ratings ever but I think you can only keep bending the rubber band so long. I hope they move the draft to different cities.

Good luck with that hope. It has been said that Radio City was the reason for the date move, but that was a convenient excuse. Several sources have said that it will probably stay in May to stretch out the league year and keep interest high. It also puts the draft during sweeps. I think John Clayton even mentioned a four day draft.

The current 3 day schedule seems great to me. I don't see any reason to stretch that further.

Make it 2 weeks like the SB. A draft pick every 2 days. Think of all the talking heads who could feed their families for a few more days.
