You're probably wondering what adversity that Tony Gonzalez came back from? Well, 2-week retirement for one. So he technically did "come back."

I voted for Peters on the sole purpose of Pudge’s monthly bashing of him. Eat crow you jerk!

Despite people deciding to place an inordinate amount of faith in him despite (yep, 2x) replacing the guy to his left and right, he managed to struggle past people's optimism and "he's not the worst guy on the line" arguments to get himself benched again. GR, not RG; fire the damn dyslexic.

(I mean no disparagement to anyone dyslexic, it just works well there).

I never said Peters didn't have the ability to be a good player, I just said that through 2010-12, he wasn't as good as people said he was. He was a significantly improved player in 2013, which only indicates that I was right all along because people overrated his previous years performances and there was a tangible difference from those years to this past year where he was in fact good.
