Its of course just an opinion; but I think Ryan sucks at setting up the screen. If this is
Dirk Koetter's specialty then he needs to go. I think Ryan rushes it!! I'm also surprised because his ball handling is one of his strengths so maybe this is all on Dirk Koetter.

Here's what I mean : On a screen pass I want to be slightly surprised and I'd like to see blockers out in front of the receivers; I'm talking 2 or 3 blockers. It seems we throw ours so short and Quick that linemen can still make plays on the ball, and it never resembles a surprise; we don't throw it wide enough and just don't set it up. I think Ryan is averaging about 7 yards per pass.

Perhaps this is just a franchise thing (: We've never done well with the screen on Offense and we've never done well with stopping running Qbs on defense. Today's game was a real embarrassment to me. We're playing supposedly the worst team in the league. They turn it over 7 times and we are fortunate to win by one!!

Maybe we suck all over, but maybe we'll be ready next year with no surprises with our offense or defense. We have found some new players; but I wouldn't miss Koetter or Nolan.

I'd like us to make a 100% effort to build a great defense with our draft picks and free agents.
Ryan needs a running game to be really effective. Why won't they give A. Smith some carries??

As I watched Dallas today I thought when is the last time they were in the playoffs. If Smith is bad their coach really sucks !!

Before anyone fires Smith I once again want to remind our fans how many playoffs he's gotten us to. 4 in 6 years doesn't deserve getting fired, after getting to the Playoff game last year!!

Antone Smith is injured, that's why he didn't get any work last week nor this week.

This year, we've been running, "too many screens." I was quite upset that the word, "screen," wasn't in Mike Mularkey's vocabulary, but what we're doing this year is excessive... So much so that our screens rarely seem to be effective. Teams gameplan for us to throw screens. Instead of being, "a play that we run," it seems that our scheme makes screens a top priority. It just seems that we're doomed to have bad offensive play calling.
