NFC parity

Postby DaveWaz » Mon Sep 16, 2013 1:14 am

pretty crazy that after two weeks, there are only 3 teams with 2-o records! (Saints, Seahawks, and Bears) and all three of them came very close to losing a game or two in the Saints case.

This conference is wide open, and I feel much better after today about our outlook for the year. I think we are an 11-5 team that will either win the division or make it as a wild card.

Don't get me wrong, the Falcons have some big issues, but so does, literally everyone else. We're gonna be alright :fingersx:

I'm only talking about the NFC obviously, forgot to state that in my original post.

I was telling Emmitt on the NFL preview podcast that if a time traveller had showed up at my house claiming to be from the future and told me the 6 teams that could make the playoffs in the NFC, 14 out of the 16 teams (everyone except Carolina and Arizona) I could have believed making the playoffs. It's a very deep conference. Compared to the AFC, which I think only has 9 playoff caliber teams.

Yup, my confidence in who is good and who isn't has been shaken, it's completely wide open.
