Headed To Draft & Met The Old Man

Postby Emmitt » Wed Apr 24, 2013 11:49 pm

I'll be attending my first live NFL draft tomorrow. I waited about an hour and half line to get free tickets, so it was cool. I'm hoping to get a d-end or corner, anything other than that will be unacceptable. A d-tackle would be a nice pick, but my god if they go tight end tomorrow. STUPID!

Anyway I met a bunch of people today, mainly UFC fighters and Dana White. Since nobody really cares about UFC on the site, I'll post this picture. You may knew who he is, he'll probably be getting booed on your televisions tomorrow while you watch the draft.

I don't know why you're against the TE's. The two top prospects are very good TE's, and they'd help solidify our offense for years to come. I realize that the defense is full of holes, but the best defensive players will simply not be there when we pick. I'd also prefer to save our picks, or trade them away for more picks next year, when there will be more talent in the draft.

You don't even comment on who I met yesterday, CMON!

I'm a guy where if I see a massive need, you need to fulfill it. Even if the Falcons don't trade up, Eifert is not falling to 30. It has to be a corner or a d-end.

That's cool. Was he out signing autographs and talking to the fans or just passing by?

Grats on meeting the commish. Did you talk to him at all, or just get your pic taken?

I talked to him for a minute. He told me since this was my first NFL draft ever that it will blow me away. Also told me to be patient since I was wearing a Falcons sweater.

So I recognize the one guy but I'm having a hard time figuring out who the feminine guy on the left is.... Doesn't look like a UFC fighter

I love UFC....was in Martial Arts for 11 years......Learned quickly you better not start something with someone who looks harmless (: It was also a great way to stay in shape. Or at least close (:
