I'm pretty indifferent about this. Seymour was great for a few years, but does he really fit in a 4-3 defense?

You assume we're still going to be playing a 4-3.

A. Yes, I assume that. For reasons covered elsewhere, their personnel doesn't support a switch to a 3-4.

B. Am I the only one that heard "Suddenly Seymour . . ." from LSoH when they read the title? Stupid English classes . . .

If Seymour accepts a minimum deal, I'll take him. But he's not worth anything more than that. Maybe he helps beef up our run defense a bit in the rotation, but he's literally on his last legs. Sort of like John Henderson a few years ago when there was the discussion of signing him. Henderson played what? 1, maybe 2 more years as a backup in Oakland and is now done. The best you can hope for is Seymour is at the same poitn in his career.
