Didn't I see Moore described as less-than-mature someplace around here?

I can't eveen fathom them taking a questionable character in round 1, athletic skills be damned.

hmmm.....

Wow that draft would be pretty awesome we would have drafted 5 possible contributors. I think we have a strong enough locker room to take a chance on a questionable character with that type of talent. He was arrested for marijuana possession as a freshman other than that he has been clean and produced.

except for the 7th WR pick. That's not a need, and we have adequate depth, where we need depth at other more important positions, IMO. 8-)

Davis is a physical specimen. He has average speed and separation ability, but unlike say Kerry Meier, Davis is very comfortable making grabs in traffic, and has been a very successful vertical threat at Virginia Tech.

THe issue with him, is whether or not he would play special teams.

But WR is a need. Roddy White may only be a Falcon for 2 more years. We need to draft his replacement either this year or next year.

A 6'3 230 pound receiver able to run in the 4.5's that is new to the position thats the type of potential I like in the 7th round. If there is a better LB prospect available then jump but if not I am all for stockpiling offensive talent.

I'm highly familiar with Davis...but he's an enigma wrapped inside a riddle. Metrically, this is how you draw 'em up. Monster hops, super physique, good speed esp for how big he is. 2 Cons. My grandmother has more want to in the blocking dept than he does. Tech fans got so mad this season, I'm sure if you youtube him and blocking theres a very humiliating video out there of him. That alone may be why tech has a new WR coach this year (along with the other offensive house cleaning). He just doesn't try very hard if he doesn't think he's gonna get the ball, which is awful considering he's half way in size between a big wr and te. The other big knock is that he will drop some very catchable balls (even though he does come up with some tough grabs).

If his lightbulb and want to ever stayed lit..whoa. But I waited several years to see it and it only still flickers.
