No big deal, but something worth discussing IMO.

I forgive the onside at the end because I have to believe that Bosher just screwed the pooch. Smitty or somebody said "dribble" it, and he took them a bit too literally with that.

But not going for 2 up 19-0 in the first. It didn't bite the Falcons in the butt, but if they go for it and get it, they are up 21-0, and then if/when SEA comes back it's tied 28-28 and you potentially have OT if the Falcons don't score instead of a loss.

Does Smitty need to make further amendments to his 2-pt card, suggesting that if you're blowing out a team in the 1st half, and are up 19 points, is it worth going for 2? Or do you not "chase points" that early? Just seeing where people fall on it. So that if/when this situation comes up 3 years from now, we'll know what to do.

What about when Seattle drives down the field on their first possession of the 2nd half, then we counter with a drive of our own. That would have been a great time to go for two.

And WTF with calling a timeout with 13 ticks left on the clock at the end of the game. Your guys got into position, let the clock tick down, then call the timeout.

It was probably just a heat-of-the-moment thing, but it did guarantee another play if the snap was flubbed and bosher had to throw a.quick inc. Pass

Mike Smith is a heat of the moment coach. The Falcons have paid for that on several occasions. In this case, his "heat of the moment," antics helped to set up a potential go-ahead score for the Seahawks. In the end, it worked out. Our players overcame poor decisions by our HC.

I guess the old adage is pretty true... Players win games, coaches lose games, and refs screw up games.

IMO-Smith saw how Seattle screwed their points up in the first half, and
he wasn't taking that chance, of an offside or anything else, 49 yards is not a sure thing.

I personally don't like chasing a point early, but I'm sure their are plenty of times when
in hind sight it would look good.

This game was like all Falcon games this season. They played 3 quarters; defense gets
trampled, and some how we win while trying to give it away......

The kicker just muffed what was suppose to be a line drive in a little space. We tried to lose every way possible (:
