The usual yearly article about the Pro Bowl snubs. Sherman, Weddle, and Bryant stood out with some more. I wrote this lovely piece.

I dont think a lot of people could bring them selves to vote for a guy who had a PED suspension looming. I would say that Peterson has had a Probowl worthy year. Arizona is a mess and the fact that the Arizona defense is on the field so much because of how horrible they are on the other side of the ball he is going to give up some plays, but he has made some big plays this year and has not been accused of juicing.

I agree that Dez Bryant should have made it, but thats what happens when you make a late season surge. People that have already voted dont make an effort to vote again.

I would have picked Roddy but its a popularity contest and Julio has the explosive TDs, the infectious name, and Roddy has always been underrated outside of Atlanta, the perfect storm for a snub.

JPP should be replaced but if you say that out loud in NY you will be tar and feathered in time square. Charles Johnson, Calais Campbell, or even Abraham would have been a better pick than JPP this year.

Good job bro!!!!!

Those are good points but Sherman has been an animal this season. He beat the case as well so he was clean. It’s a shame but that PED suspension must have really hurt him. They should limit Pro Bowl voting until Week 11 because people vote at Week 8 and thats pointless.

Other than that, the big names were taken which is no surprise. Thanks.

He didnt beat the case because he was clean, he beat the case because he disputed the chain of custody the same way that Ryan Braun did when he beat a 50 game suspension in the MLB.
