put me down as not a big fan. we could have gotten a quality OLineman with that pick that would have helped us out much more in the long run.

in fact so far in day 2 McKay has reached on every single pick. either he is having a Prozac swing or every talent evaluator i've seen out there is wrong. The Fresno receiver and Syracuse tackle were projected to go undrafted.

I can deal with it. I believe I heard them say he was the fastest RB in the draft...

I didn't get the Norwood pick either. But many of McKay's past draft classes where considered 'reaches' anyways. I'm not stressed yet.

I have to admit after all the hype this draft class got I'm going 'Meh.'

Today I'd give the Falcons a C+ for their draft simply because we got Abraham and Williams. But we still have glarin g holes in regards to depth at DE, CB, S.

I really don't get the WR pick in the 6th and no surprise that Shockley got the 7th rounder even though we could have had him as a Rookie FA>

I disagree that we still have a need at CB. With DHall, JWill, JWeb, Cash, Mathis, Rossum, Lowe (who I think will make the team as a gunner and S), and Torrence, I dont think we needed another CB.

Safety is a position where we still lack depth...but I have read that they are thinking of moving Mathis to S, and I personally think Lowe can play there. So we might not be that bad there after all. I think it would be nice to pick up an undrafted "big hitter" that can play the position...

I think we still have some depth issues at RDE, NT, and G. But in all honesty, who doesnt have some depth problems...

I think we should also pick up a vet WR to play our #4, and let our rookie (assuming he makes the team as a KR) play the #5....

I love the Shockley pick - we were right not to take the chance he would be available as FA.

RB Hall, Andre 5-8 209 South Florida
C Raiola, Donovan 6-2 296 Wisconsin
C Ross, Pat 6-3 295 Boston College
G Shack, Dartangon 6-2 270 Fresno State

Other interesting undrafted players:
S Ware, Scott 6-1 215 Southern California
LB Derting, Will 6-0 248 Washington State
LB Iwuh, Brian 5-11 235 Colorado
CB Phillips, Anwar 6-0 192 Penn State
TE Bienemann, Troy 6-5 258 Washington State
RB Bell, Mike 6-0 222 Arizona
RB Moore, DonTrell 5-10 209 New Mexico
QB Meyer, Erik 6-1 209 Eastern Washington
QB Nealy, Barrick 6-4 227 Texas State
QB Pinegar, Paul 6-5 231 Fresno State
LB Roach, Freddie 6-2 251 Alabama
C Degory, Mike 6-4 297 Florida

I seriously doubt any of our second day picks would have been drafted.

Considering our Day 2 draft picks, the Crocker trade is looking better all the time.

Here's hoping Day 3 of the draft (free agent signings) brings good news.
