Ryan completed just 15 of his 60 passing attempts 20 yards or more down the field according to ProFootballFocus.com. That Rex Grossman both took and completed more attempts down the field should tell you all you need to know.


Other than scheme and playcalling, this is by FAR our biggest area on room for improvement.

Agree Pudge. Either Smitty doesn't want to take the reigns off of Ryan or he has no confidence in his 5 guys up front to protect him. Likely a combination of both.

Yeah this was basically his BC offense, the one his was prolific in. Waaaay overdue, but uber exciting if true.
