last year at this time, some posters were mocking the importance of the last game of the season...out of the playoffs, the thing to play for was to finally put together 2 consecutive winning seasons. "who cares? it's a stupid stat! this game is no more special then any other...etc"
reading the demise of John Fox guess what they say in the first paragraph? "Fox got them to thier only superbowl appearance, despite never having back to back winning seasons".
so for those that thought this way, sorry you are incorrect. That last game was very important, because if we had dropped it, regardless of the play weve had this year, that unfortunate stat would be screaming out of the first paragraph for us, too
