Law reportedly not returning to Jets.

Postby GuitarHeroJunkie » Wed Feb 15, 2006 5:36 pm

According to the bottom line on ESPN, Ty Law will not return to the Jets next season as stated by his agent. If he could be gotten at Vet minimum, would we want him here? I think he could be a good mentor to the young DB's we will most likely draft this year and also add some depth. As soon as the article is posted I will post a link. I saw it while watching ATH on ESPN.

Vet minimum sure. Only problem is that's like a slap in the face to Ty and he'd never go for it. He's still doing some pretty good production so you know he's going to want that moola.

The man made the Pro Bowl this year. No way he takes the veteran minimum, and no way there isn't a team out there that offers him a hefty contract. It would be lovely to have him, but it's one of those things that is just very unlikely to happen. I would say it's about as likely as D'Brickashaw Ferguson being a Falcon.
