Vick placed 2nd in precision passing competition beating out both Trent Green and Peyton Manning...

Matt Hasslebeck won the comp...

Well at least we know Vick can throw the ball and with accuracy. I think this is more an indicator of poor offensive line blocking rather than anything else. Vick has performed well in the Pro Bowl and in the skills challanges but we never see it on the field come game time.

accuracy is just one small piece of the puzzle. pass protection of course and then there is reading defenses and making smart decisions.

And DeLo finally got some validation of his 40 times from college. Winning the fast man competition instills a little more confidence in him that I didn't have before.

I would think any professional QB can hit a target with no pressure. I think Vick has all the ability to reach the heights than many have set for him but he's got his share of work to do as well as the rest of our offense. I wish we'd make his job easier by getting a legitimate o-line...

Yeah, Vick did finish last.

I believe it went like this:

1. Hasselbeck
2. Green
3. Manning
4. Delhomme/VIck

Yeah, the AJC reported he finished 2nd. That's where I initially saw it.

Okay so my Vick outlook went from good to stormy. We have Vick stating he's confused in the offense and poor performances in the Pro Bowl. It's not much of a measuring stick but at least Vick looked good last year.

Meh.

We have Vick stating he's confused in the offense

Vicks quote was taken out of context and we all know it. He wasnt saying "I'm confused with the offsense, I dont know what I'm doing". He said, "Im confused, It hought we were suppposed to be doing dinking and dumping but we're not". But people are going to believe what they want so....whatever.

and poor performances in the Pro Bowl.

Like I said last year, you cannot measure a player by a all star game. No matter how good or bad he plays. Or maybe you can........Manning SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!
Yep

I know you aren't supposed to read to much into the Pro Bowl or the skills comp, but I am a little concerned that Vick somehow managed to miss an 8 foot tall, four foot wide piece of plywood from 15 yards, and I am not talking about the bulls-eye, he missed the entire darn target...I mean c'mon, even I could have hit that....
