Re: So what now?

Center should be acquired in free agency. This year's draft doesn't have any standout centers. If you draft one, you're probably looking at a project. We don't need a project at center, we had two of them this year. We need an NFL caliber center. I'm guessing that we'll go DE or OLB with our 1st pic...

Re: So what now?

Need a center. This is priority #1, but it would be stupid to use a 1st round pick here. Might or might not need a guard. Perhaps Asamoah will be back, or Person will shift over to Guard and surprise us. Need a TE that can stretch the seam. Tamme has been a good stop-gap, and Toilolo is mostly worth...

Re: Week 6 vs. Saints Discussion Thread

I think the biggest, most obvious need is a backup center that can snap the football. Stone throws everything off with his crappy snaps. Makes it harder for Ryan to make reads because he has to fumble around for the football, if he even gets his hands on the ball in the first place. Also, Worrilow s...

Re: Roddy White is now concerned with goose eggs

I don't think that Roddy is toast. I think that he can still contribute plenty, but as AJ51 said, he's the 4th target. That said, as the season moves forward, that 4th target might start getting more work. People are obviously scheming to take away Jones. They might also work on taking away Freeman....

Cyril took off, thinking that Pudge said that he was quitting or something. I believe that Pudge, Emmitt, and Cappy are still around.

DLed videos

DLed videos on front page. I hate hating on people, I really do. But I cannot stomach watching another DLed video. The guy has as much personality as a hay bale. That might be generous. I've never been a fan of the guy's writing, but his videos are simply awful. Agree/disagree?

I still post here. Don't know why Roddy hasn't been targeted. We'll have to ask Matt what's up.

Re: I have to say

This is the 2nd week in a row that our offense has been solid for the whole game. Well, until we benched our starters. We didn't have a 2nd half letdown. We didn't back off of our game plan. The defense absolutely took away any running game that the Texans tried to muster. They created turnover afte...

Re: CBS Sports: 2016 Mock Draft

I don't think that I agree with this call. I think that we will be quite happy with our DT's by the end of the year. They have been pretty solid thus far. I wouldn't be surprised if we look for another DE next year, however. Aside from DE, I think that our early picks will focus on OL, TE, and LB, u...

What a dominant second half. 3-0. This looks nothing like the team that we've had for the past few years.

Re: Kroy?

This goes back to what I said time and time again, and no one wanted to hear it... Players playing under Mike Smith showed positive progress in years 1 and 2. After that, the vast majority of the players under Smith regressed. I said that Smith didn't develop talent. Everyone who saw Kroy play thoug...

Re: Week 2 vs. Giants Discussion Thread

To go along with the comments, I really wish that we wouldn't rely SO heavily on Julio. We should be using him as a decoy as much as possible rather than feeding him the ball 14 times a game, mostly in the 1st quarter. Given that he is somewhat injury prone, I hate that we're having him run the ball...

Re: Week 2 vs. Giants Discussion Thread

I'm impressed that we pulled this one out. We obviously didn't look, "good," doing it, but we delivered when it counted, both on offense and defense.

Re: Obviously . . .

Ryan had an off night, and could have easily thrown another pick or two. The offense certainly looked out of sync in the 3rd quarter. The big culprit was obviously the Matt Ryan pick to start the 3rd. Hopefully we will do a better job with the penalties and negative plays so that we're not having to...

Yeah, this is a strange one. Perhaps they expect him to recover more quickly than was originally expected?

Re: Thoughts on Levitre trade?

I think that it's a great move for us. It sounds like he excels in a ZBS. His price tag is high, but we could restructure that, or... if he doesn't work out, we can dump him without a cap penalty. (I believe the trading team that the player comes from eats the guaranteed money in a trade, but things...

Re: What should we get for Jon Asamoah in a trade?

Ideally, the best move would be to try to find a team where they have an offensive lineman that doesn't fit their scheme. I'm not 100% sold on our line... Are you? Beyond that... Safety or DE.

Re: Julio Jones Sucks

Hopefully he won't get hurt this year. Though Week 1, we seemed to lean heavily on him, we didn't do that in week 2. Maybe we can get one of our RB's back for week 3, and the run game will be able to contribute.

Too many WR's

Jones, White, Hardy, Hester, Hankerson, Williams, Reedy, Weems... I don't envy the cuts that this coaching staff is going to have to make... That said, do any of these guys have real (non-madden) trade value?

He has to know that he dropped too many balls last year to seriously be considered for a top spot. As much as I like the guy, he can't be dropping passes like that.

Julio Jones Sucks

Training camp week! I'm pretty stoked. Thanks to Pudge for all of the previews. I find myself wishing that we had Hard Knocks coverage this year. Oh well. Football time is near! Oh, and in case there are new people, I don't think that Julio Jones sucks. It's a, "joke," that I would post on...
